Established in 2001, The Last Starfighter will rock and (or) roll until it’s considered criminal, or until the last days of Armageddon, which ever comes first. The ever evolving sound always starts with a monstrous groove. Add chunk, shred, melody, love, and a little blood. Now you’ve got a recipe that will drive that groove into the innards of your skull, and the bowls of you soul. TL*F has always stayed just ahead, behind, or to the left of the status quo, never fitting in, or writing to, any prescribed scene or style. No matter what form the rock takes, one thing is for certain: TL*F always has and always will find a way to rock your respective genitalia clean off.
The five piece hails from the 3rd coast, deep in the heart, of Houston, Texas, and has toured across the US from Florida to Chicago to California. The band has played dates on larger tours such as Sounds of the Underground, and Family Values, but is not afraid to play on someone’s back porch in 20° weather, wearing nothing but boxer briefs.
The band consist of: Beau Gobert; throwing chunk and adjusting your tone, Chris Goodwinn; making love to 6 strings at once and serenading your girlfriend, Will Guess; locking down your moms low end, Benny Tamayo; slapping skins and swindling, Roman C. Molina Jr, hollering, singing, and smoking sucker MCs like fire.
The message is positive the music will make you move. The live show is what they do best and will make you truly appreciate what these guys are bringing to the world of rock and roll. Go to a show bleed on the person next to you and hug everyone. Make no mistake, this is a takeover.
